The use of power bank battery

Everyone should have used the power bank, and for those who travel a lot, they may still use it every day. However, it is such a common little thing that many people have some misunderstandings in their daily use. Some ways of using the power bank may consume the life of the power bank and cause a mobile phone safety accident. 1. What happens when charging and discharging?
Nowadays, many power banks have multiple interfaces, and some power banks also have the function of "charging and discharging". So many people charge while charging for convenience, that is, while the power supply is charging the power bank, the power bank also charges the mobile phone simultaneously.
This approach will make the circuit board in the power bank in a high load state, and it is easy to generate high heat in a short time, which will cause the power bank to heat up and cause loss of battery performance. On the other hand, it may be caused by unstable voltage. Charging is interrupted and even damages the cell phone battery.
In short, it is best not to charge and discharge the power bank at the same time.
2. What happens if the ambient temperature is too high or too low?
All electronic products have a suitable working environment temperature. Most of the power bank batteries are lithium batteries, and the working temperature of lithium batteries is 0~55 ℃.
When the external environment temperature is too low, the discharge capacity of the lithium battery will be reduced, and the charging and discharging will be unstable; and the temperature is too high, not to mention, it is easy to wear the battery core and circuit board, causing some components to age. If the power bank does not have the over-temperature protection function, it may cause short circuit, overheating and expansion, or even explosion.
Therefore, try to use the power bank in an environment of 0~55 ℃. When going out in hot weather, do not put it in a car without air conditioning or in a closed place such as a backpack that is not conducive to heat dissipation.
3. Can it be left unused for a long time?
Many people have multiple power banks in their homes, but they may only use one or two frequently. When they take out the idle power banks one day, they find that the power banks are out of power or even can’t be used normally.
In fact, even if the power bank is not used for a long time, the lithium battery inside will slowly consume power. If it has been in a state of exhaustion, the lithium battery is in a low-voltage state, and the lithium ions have no activity, and the chemical activity will decrease and enter a "sleep" state. In this state, irreversible "low power damage" will be caused to the battery, and the capacity of the battery cell will decay in less than three months.
Therefore, the power bank needs to be charged and discharged regularly, at least every two to three months to activate the lithium battery inside. When not in use for a long time, it is recommended to charge the battery to 50~80%, because the low-voltage state under low power and the high-voltage state under full power are not conducive to battery health. In addition, it should be placed in a dry and cool place that can avoid sunlight, so as to extend the life of the power bank.
4. Is it good to use the power bank frequently?
Some people say that too frequent use of the power bank will affect its service life. In fact, this statement is general. Like mobile phone batteries, the lifespan of the power bank mainly depends on the "number of charge and discharge cycles" of its batteries, and a charge and discharge cycle refers to the completion of a 100% complete charging & discharging process.
As the battery is charged and discharged again and again, the lifespan of the power bank will gradually decrease. Therefore, the biggest component that affects the life of the power bank is the quality of the battery.
Power bank batteries are generally divided into three categories: A, B, and C according to their quality levels. Category A has the highest quality and a longer service life. According to national mandatory standards, after 300 charge and discharge cycles of mobile power, the remaining capacity of the battery core is not less than 80% to meet the requirements.
