Guide for Lithium Battery Storage Procedures
1 2026-05-29
I. Pre-storage Required Documentation
Lithium batteries are considered special items and require relevant documentation to be completed before storage. There may be variations depending on the region, but generally, the following items are included:
Business qualification certificate: Basic materials such as business license
Product technical documents: Battery specifications, safety parameters, etc.
Storage site information: location, area, fire-fighting facilities, etc.
Emergency plan: Containing handling procedures for situations such as leaks and fires

II. Safety Requirements for Storage Environment
Lithium batteries are sensitive to the environment and improper storage may cause problems. The ideal storage space should meet the following requirements:
Humidity and temperature control: It is recommended to maintain a temperature range of 15-25℃ and a humidity level below 65%.
Fire prevention measures: Equip with dedicated fire-fighting equipment and keep away from open flames.
Separate storage: Different batches of batteries should be kept apart to prevent short circuits.
Good ventilation: Ensure proper air circulation to prevent gas accumulation

III. Transportation and Daily Management
Even after the registration is completed, daily management cannot be relaxed:
Transport packaging: Use special packaging for shock protection and short-circuit prevention.
Regular inspection: Check the battery status at least once a month
